Aimee Herron passed away at her residence surrounded by her family on April 28, 2024, at the age of 53.  Aimee was born in Indianapolis, In on August 30, 1970, the daughter of Melissa Mayo Maynard and the late Guy Thomas, Sr.

On March 2, 2013, in Naples, Florida, she was united in marriage to Timothy Herron.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed going to concerts, working in her gardens, cooking, and going to thrift stores and antique stores looking for old pottery.  Aimee loved being a grandma and her most valued treasure was the time she spent with her grandchildren and family.

Aimee had worked as an LPN at the Care Pavilion for the past 5 years until her health no longer permitted.  She also worked for over 20 years at the Heritage House of Connersville and was a Deputy Coroner under Vicky Wysong.

Those that she has left behind to cherish her love and memories include her husband, Timothy; daughter Lauren Cope; bonus daughter, Nichole "Nikki" (Shawn) Jones; grandchildren, Maisie McClure and Kennedy Jones; a brother, Guy Thomas, Jr; sister Mona (Marty) Chilton; nieces Sarah Chilton and Kayla Stephenson; a nephew, Dylan (Elizabeth) Thomas; and her mother Melissa.

Keeping with Aimee's wishes, cremation was chosen, and the family will conduct a Celebration of Life at a later date.
