Alvada Bischoff of Connersville, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday December 28, 2024, at the age of 85.  She was born in Glenwood, Indiana on April 13, 1939, the daughter of Paul Dale and LG Lavern Claxton Lewark.

She was united in marriage to Clarence Bischoff on March 30, 1959, at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church.  They shared 59 years of marriage prior to his death in 2018.

Alvada was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that when not helping on the family farm could be found relaxing by reading.  Her most valued treasure was the time that she spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Raleigh) Isaacs, Danny Bischoff, and Eric (Trish) Bischoff; sister, Nilah Mae Cox; grandchildren, Travis (Autumn) Bischoff, Vanessa (Tyler Roehler) Bischoff, Gage (Amanda) Bischoff, Jeremy (Holly) Griffin, April (Ryan) Canaday, Brooke (Brian) Hazelrigg, Blake Bischoff, step-grandson, Josh Isaacs; 16 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Athol and Belva Lewark; daughter-in-law, Lisa Bischoff; grandson, Derek Bischoff; and brothers-in-law, Ronnie Cox and Lawrence Bischoff.

Funeral services will be held on Friday January 3, 2025, at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, at 1:00 pm.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Alvada will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
