Anna Rose Puckett Cain, 95 of Connersville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. She was born on October 10, 1930 in Camptaylor, Kentucky to Zacriah Taylor Puckett and Mary Frances Purvis.

On September 18, 1946, she married Levi Cain in Berea, Kentucky. They were able to spend 61 years together before he passed away on January 19, 2007.

Anna was a faithful member of Full Gospel Holliness Church. For 35 years, she faithfully served as a Sunday School teacher, inspiring countless children and families through her gentle guidance, patience and steadfast faith. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived her life and cared for those around her.

She loved her family above all, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her world, and nothing brought her more happiness than being with them. You could often find her looking through old family photos and sharing stories and memories from the years that had passed by.  She will be remembered for her loving heart, strong faith and the comfort she brought to her family.

Anna is survived by her children, Marlene (Joe) Burris, Tina (Rick) Shannon, Dennis Lee (companion, Nancy) Cain, Terry Lynn Cain and Timothy (Marian) Eugene Cain; 10 grandchildren, Denny, Bryon, Ryan, Heather, Amelia, Jeremy, Tabitha, Jabin, Ghislene and Isaiah and several great grandchildren; and many friends and church family.

Along with her parents and husband, Levi she was preceded in death by her children, Darlene Cain, Patricia Ann Cain and Jerry Dee Cain.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from, 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Full Gospel Holliness Church, 1109 W. 10th St., Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Jeff Hensley, and Isaiah Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Everton Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
