Anthony "Cowboy" Brown, 61 of Connersville passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. He was born on March 28, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio to Bob Brown and Rhoda Folkerth Brown.

On September 23, 2005, he married Dawnna Simpson. They were married for 16 years before she passed away on June 27, 2021.

Cowboy gave himself to the Lord in February of 1989 and studied the Bible every morning and night. He has been a faithful member of Crosspointe Biker Church since their beginning. At church he enjoyed playing the guitar, attending their motorcycle benefit rides and helping with the disaster relief group.

Cowboy grew up in New Paris, Ohio where he was a member of 4H and FFA. He showed cattle and hogs at the Preble County Fair every year he was a member of 4H. His nickname came from his love of horses, riding them, training them and just being a true horseman. Cowboy enjoyed being a bull rider and trail riding. He loved animals, fishing, especially bass fishing, playing music and loved to sing.

For over 40 years he was a delivery driver for McLane Food Service. He also worked at the State Line Truck Stop, and he did masonry work. He enjoyed working on the farm bailing hay every year.

Cowboy is survived by his father and stepmother, Bob and Pixie Brown; his sons, Daniel Brown and William Brown; his brothers, Jeff Brown and Michael Brown; his sister, Lori Worley Brown; 6 grandchildren, Bradley, Aubrey, LillyAnna, Waylynn, Kashton, Kinsley Brown and Lydia Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rhoda Brown, and a brother, Dr. Matt Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday November 11, 2024, at Crosspointe Biker Church, 1130 Baseline Road, Connersville, IN.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Cowboy will be laid to rest on Tuesday November 12, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Palestine Cemetery in Palestine, OH.
