Arthur A
Carroll, Ii
Oct 17, 1958 — Oct 31, 2022
Arthur A. "Eagle" Carroll, II, age 64, lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer, surrounded by his family on, Monday, October 31, 2022, at his residence. Arthur was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 17, 1958, the son of the late Arthur A. and Clara Chambers Carroll.
On June 11, 1988, he and Kimberly Kay Hornung were united in marriage at Central Christian Church. They worked side by side for many years in their business, Eagle Food Service, selling elephant ears, lemon shake-ups, and corn dogs throughout the country. Art was proud to have worked at the Indiana State Fair for over 50 years and the Minnesota State Fair for 30 years. He was renowned for his attention to detail and his high standard of cleanliness.
He was a member of the New Heights Christian Church and Warren Lodge #15 F.& A.M. He also had belonged to several professional business associations.
You could often find Art attending some type of racing event with his racing buddies or listening to Bluegrass music and attending Bluegrass Festivals. He was an avid collector of many things: racing, Coca-Cola, and circus memorabilia, knives, watches, pens, and notepads.
Those that will cherish his memories and love are his wife, Kimberly and their son, Joseph (Emily) Carroll, special friend, Pam Jessop and dogs, Maggie and Mollie. He is survived by his brother, Ralph Carroll; half-brother, Eric Carroll; sisters, Rebecca Rollings, and Carmen Yeager; half-sister Anita Smith all of Indianapolis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Art's wishes, cremation was chosen, and a Celebration of Life service will be conducted on December 3, 2022, at New Heights Christian Church at 11:00am with a meal to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Art had requested that donations be made to New Heights Christian Church for a family in the church, dear to his heart, in need of a handicap-accessible vehicle.
Urban Winkler Funeral Home is honored to assist Art's family with the arrangements.
