Barbara "Barbie" Lee, 83 of Connersville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born on March 29, 1938 in Evansville to James Dalton and Dessa Steele Dalton.

On March 25, 1961 she married the love of her life Reverend Robert E. Lee in Connersville at Full Gospel Holiness; together they were blessed with 3 children.

Barbara and her husband founded Community Gospel Church in Connersville. She was proud of her church, she loved to decorate the church for all seasons. Serving the Lord was Barbara's life, she always had a helping hand.

When Barbara wasn't at church you could find her out shopping. She even had worked at some retailers and modeled clothing for them.  She also enjoyed cross-stitching and making quilts for all her children and grandchildren. She cherished her time spent with her family.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 60 years, her sons, Todd (Paula) Lee and Chad (Kristy) Lee; grandchildren, Devin (Tyler) Lee Johnson, Mariah Lee, Andrew Robert Lee, Aniston Lee, Grayson Lee and Tristan Showalter; great grandchildren, Kaspen Rader, Liam Marcum, Mason Marcum and Penelope Marcum; brothers, James Dalton and Stephen Dalton; sisters, Linda (Kerry) Weinheimer, Sarah Turney and Cathy (Rick) Brummett; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daren Lee; and sisters, Sue Dalton and Cindy Watson.

Visitation for Barbara will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8 ^th St. Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at Community Gospel Church, 250 Erie Dr. with Pastor Jeff Hensley and Pastor David Pinter officiating. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Barbara to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
