While resting peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, William "Bill" Goode, Jr passed away on Saturday June 13, 2026, at the age of 56. Bill was strong and fought a long battle with cancer. He was born on November 22, 1969, in Connersville, IN the son of Roberta Morris Roark and the late William Earl Goode, Sr.

Bill was the owner/operator of This n That Cleaning Services.  He enjoyed karaoke, dancing, and making the best attempts to make people laugh with his joke telling.  He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball and Colt's football, as well as high school sports.  He was known to have an immaculate house and loved to redecorate.  A caring heart, Bill, loved helping people.  He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and above all, he loved to spend time at family gatherings.

His love and memories will be cherished by his mother, Roberta, daughters, Brittany Goode, Amanda Goode, Sophie Goode and her mother Lisa Johnson; a son, Devon Goode; grandchildren, Zendaya, Ace, Hazelyn, Henry, Howie, and Hudson; brother, Charles (Tara Haupert) Roark; sisters, Evelyn (Gary Resler) Goode, Minnie Rector, Tina Vaughn and Debbie Roark; paternal grandmother, Lois Goode, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his father, William Goode, Sr., maternal grandparents, Raymond and Irene Morris; paternal grandfather, William Arnold Goode; aunt, Pamela Jo Goode; great aunts, Evelyn Gosser and Maggie; and a cousin, Jackie Gosser.

Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville on Friday June 19, 2026, at 7:00 pm.  Family and friends may gather from 4:00 pm until the time of the service.
