Bobby Sue Abner passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2025, at the age of 41.  She was born in Chillicothe, OH on December 2, 1983, the daughter of Brenda Sue Sandlin Viars and the late Joseph Casey Abner.

Bobby had worked at Speedway and as a counselor at Buckhorn Children's Center.  She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and was very artistic.  Her most valued time was the time she spent with her family.  Bobby dearly loved her children.

She is survived by her mother, Brenda (Vernon) Viars, daughter, Kayla (Tucker Thompson) Abner-Burns; son, Daniel Joseph Casey Maxie; sisters, Amanda Abner-Hall and Lasey Jo Abner; a granddaughter, Jaycee May Thompson; a special aunt, Regina (Bob) Light; cousins, Tina Abner and Brandon Abner; nieces and nephews, Whitney, Kaylyn, Adaisia, Glen Brady, Kira, Aliyah, Tatum, Morgan, and Warren.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a nephew, Seth Coulson; and her many grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 21, 2025, at Urban Winkler Funeral Home at 1:00 pm.  Friends and family may gather from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
