Brandi Renee Gabbard, age 56, passed away at Reid Health in Richmond on January 12, 2025.  Brandi was born on May 11, 1968, the daughter of Joyce Burke Holbrook and the late Elder Zee Holbrook.

She graduated from Knott County Central High School and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Pikeville in Pikeville, Kentucky.  She enjoyed reading, watching TV and spending time with her family.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her daughter, Maggie Renee Gabbard; sons Gary W. (Heather) Seals, Joshua L. Seals; and Jameson Gabbard; brother, Randy (Flossie) Holbrook; sisters, Sheila Garrett, Sharon (Gene) Sizemore and Sherry (Tim) Wooley; four grandchildren, Morgan, Macie, Carson and Camron Seals, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Elder Zee Holbrook, she is preceded in death by a son, Timmy Y. Gabbard, and a brother, Timothy Dean Holbrook.

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville on Friday January 17. 2025, at 1:00 pm.  Friends and family may visit from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Brandi will be laid to rest with her family at Little Children's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
