Carolyn Rowe passed away on January 10, 2024, at Reid Health at the age of 74.  She was born on July 30, 1949, in Brookville, IN, the daughter of the late Fred and Anna Mae Smith.

Carolyn was united in marriage to Thomas Rowe in 1969.  They enjoyed 54 years of marriage prior to her passing and were blessed with a son.

When she was younger, she worked at Lenny's Bakery and Pharmacy and later worked at Grandview Pharmacy.  She retired from J & J Packaging after several years of service.  Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that valued the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, her love and memory will be cherished by her son Scott (Kimberly Smith) Rowe and grandchildren, Nathan and Isabella Rowe.  She will be in the thoughts of her brothers, Dale Smith and Fred Smith, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Norman Smith.

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Tuesday January 16, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Rob Judd officiating.  Friends and family may visit from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Carolyn will be laid to rest at Everton Cemetery.
