Cathy (Golden) Barrett, age 70, of Richmond, Ky and formerly of Connersville, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. Cathy was born on May 22, 1952 in Connersville, IN to William Golden and Laura Lechner Golden.

Cathy married Harry Collins in 1989, they were able to spend 17 years together before he passed away in 2006.

Cathy stayed at home and raised her children. She lived for her family, taking care of them was her most important job.

Cathy is survived by her daughter, Brittaney Barrett; grandchildren, Reagan Barrett, Taylor Barrett, Travis (Amanda) Barrett, Alex (Brittany) Barrett, Parker Frost and Logan Harris; a great grandson, Jayce Barrett; brothers, Bill (Amy) Golden and David (Barbara) Golden; sisters, Sharon (Brooks) Wooten, Janet (Joe) McMillian and Penny Robinson.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Benny Barrett, Aa son, Robby Barrett, a brother, Randy Golden and a sister, Donna Gordon; and her husband, Harry Collins.

Visitation for Cathy will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8 ^th St., Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Friday with Pastor Chris Lovett officiating.
