Yvonne "Chris" Davis, 70 of Connersville passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026. She was born on October 18, 1955, in Connersville to Stanley Duncan and Shirley Myers Duncan.

On May 27, 1987, she married Larry Davis in Jellico, Tennessee.

Yvonne dedicated her life to caring for others. As a stay-at-home wife and mother, she lovingly raised not only her own children but also opened her heart and home to many foster children over the years.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending peaceful days fishing, gathering around campfires and cheering on her favorite team the Pittsburg Steelers, every football season. Whether celebrating a victory or simply enjoying time together, she treasured every moment spent with her family and loved ones.

Along with her husband of 39 years, Larry; she is survived by children, Sunshine Davis, Cierra Thomas, Joanna Davis, Ty Metcalf and Jeffrey Griffin; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; her nephew who she raised as her own, Benjamin Duncan; her siblings, Steve Duncan, Donald Duncan Sr. and Beverly Isaacs; and family friends Melissa (Danny) Steele.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, David Duncan, Ricky Duncan, Phillip Duncan and Linda Loyd.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Lick Creek Cemetery.
