Constance M. Frye-Alsup passed away on Saturday September 26, 2026, at Reid Health of Richmond at the age of 71.  She was born on October 4, 1954, in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of the late John and Maxine (Patton) Frye.

She was a member of the Higher Praise Worship Center.

Connie was a loving person who worked as a drug counselor with the Indiana State Police and the New Castle Correctional Facility.  Her passion was to help individuals overcome their drug addictions.  In her younger years, she worked as a licensed insurance agent in the Indianapolis area.  Connie graduated from Indiana University in 2002, earning her bachelor's degree in general studies.  Her love for cats led her to be a foster parent for many fur babies and she enjoyed being outdoors in nature.

Connie is survived by her niece Elizabeth (Aaron) Mays: great nieces, Felicity and Nora Mays; and her friend and caregiver, Cody Hilsky.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, William Charles Cruse, Lance Tyler Alsup and Lindsey Blake Alsup; her sister Pamela Simmermeyer; and nephew, Greggory Simmermeyer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Higher Praise Worship Center.
