Dale G Daily, age 75 of Indianapolis Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at St. Francis Indianapolis while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on April 7, 1949, the son of the late Ralph and Lois Burgdoefer Daily.

On November 25, 1967 in Connersville, IN Dale married the love of his life the former Patricia Sidell. Together they celebrated 54 years of marriage prior to her passing on January 25, 2022. They were blessed with three daughters.

He was a 1967 high school graduate. He worked in the manufacturing industry and was employed by Frigidaire for 27 years. In 1994 Dale obtained two certifications in management from Ivy Tech.

Dale was a son, husband, uncle, grandfather and friend. During Dale's leisure time he enjoyed cooking and drawing. He will be remembered for his famous sugar cookies and pumpkin pie. Dale also loved to sing. A favorite song of his to sing was It Had to Be You by Tony Bennett.

Dale is survived by his daughters, Melissa K Lakes of Connersville, IN and Melinda R. (Forrest) Pitcher of Greensburg, IN. He is also survived by his nieces, Samantha Lozada and Jennifer Daily of Florida. He will be remembered by his grandchildren; Rachelle A. Gallimore of Richmond, IN, Jay T. Tyler and Shelby (Maddie) Pitcher of Greensburg, IN, Payton Kaylee Houssain of Indianapolis, IN, and Landon and Samuel Marcum of Richmond, IN.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his wife Patricia A Daily, a daughter, Michelle A. Daily, and his grandchildren Jasmine N. Gallimore, Jacob Pitcher, and James Michael "Tre" Taylor.

There are no public services scheduled for Dale at this time. Urban Winkler Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
