Danielle M (Steele) Johnson, 49, went home to be with the Lord on July 18, 2024 surrounded by her family. Danielle was born on September 10, 1974 and is the daughter of Denver Dale Steele Sr. and the late Donna June (Rollins) Steele. On February 12, 2004, she married Tracy Johnson in Gatlinburg, TN. They were blessed with three sons and six grandchildren.

Danielle's family was everything to her. She took pride in taking care of her family. She loved to shop and wasn't afraid to drive the extra miles when searching for the right item or deal.

In addition to her husband, Tracy, she is survived by her three sons, Draven (Beth) Steele of Greensburg, Garrett Steele and Chase (Leeann) Steele both of Connersville; six grandchildren, Brayson and Braxton Steele of Laurel, Samuel, Sophia, and Arabella of Greensburg, and Harper Steele of Connersville; her father and step mother, Rev. Denver Dale (Thelma) Steele Sr. of Connersville; four brothers, Denver Dale (Tammy) Steele Jr of Connersville, Donald Steele of Oldenburg, Dallas Steele of Laurel, and Dusty (Jennifer) Steele of Louisiana; Uncles, Junior Steele, Paul Steele, and Ronald Rollins; Aunts, Iona McFarland, Elvira Lovins, and Naomi "Sugar" Steele; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her mother, Donna, Danielle is preceded in death by her uncles; Gordon, Lester, and Earl Steele; and two aunts, Roxie Triplett and Ramona Crawford.

Visitation for Danielle will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. A funeral service officiated by Pastor Dan Agee will immediately follow at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at Orange North cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with the cost of the arrangements.
