Darrell Russell passed away at Majestic Care on July 31, 2024, at the age of 62.  He was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on September 11, 1961, the son of David and Evelyn Angel Russell.

Darrell did car detailing, house painting, and enjoyed walking.  When out walking, he would pick up trash to help beautify the area.  His most valued treasure was the time he spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Clint Belt; brothers, Ray Russell, Larry (Susie) Russell, and Gary Russell; sisters, Marlene McDaniel, Paulene (Shelby) Mounce, Angelene Russell, and Kathlene Russell, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Russell; sisters, Charlene Russell, Darlene Russell Hall and Alene Russell; and two nephews, Brandon Isaacs and Brian Rose.

Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Tuesday August 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Ronald Russell officiating.  Friends and family may visit from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.
