David F. French formerly of Connersville, IN, passed away on June 14, 2026, at Beaumont Health and Rehabilitation in Anderson, In at the age of 71.  David was born on April 13, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of the late Marion Francis and Frances Jane (Harsh) French.

David served his country in the United States Navy in the 1970's being stationed in the Philippines.  He enjoyed being outdoors.  He loved to go camping and fishing, going for long car rides and working with his hands and building things.  David was a jokester, always making the best attempts to make people laugh and bring them joy.

His love and memories will be cherished by his siblings, Nelson Doyle French, Marilyn Kay (Lowell) Brandenburg and Linda Faye French, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Marion William French.

Graveside services will be held at Dale Cemetery, Connersville on Friday June 19, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
