David F Lewis, age 58, of New Salem, Indiana, passed away on November 16, 2023 at his residence. David was born on February 1, 1965, in Lexington Kentucky, the son of the late Charles and Dorisalene Baker Lewis.

David enjoyed being outside, and he was always busy doing something. He enjoyed working with his hands. David was always the life of the party and could make anyone laugh. When he wasn't working outdoors, he valued time with his friends and family especially his fur baby. He also loved listening to music.

He is survived by his daughters Annie Boyer, Norma Wren, and Cheryl Wren; a son, Kerry (Amber) Wren and his special friend Margie Lewis. His memory will be cherished by his 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be thought of often by his siblings, Bill Lewis, Shirley Peters and Lola Sells.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded death by his brother, Bob Lewis and son, Herbert Boyer.

Friends and family may visit Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street Connersville, IN 47331, on Tuesday November 28, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00pm. A memorial service honoring David will begin at 6:00 pm.
