Debra L. Walton, age 65, of Connersville, passed away unexpectedly on November 15, 2023.  Debbie was born on May 20, 1958, in Connersville, the daughter of the late Richard and Mattie Cornett Leach.

She was united in marriage on August 1, 1998, to Devin Walton in Blooming Grove.  They enjoyed over 25 years of marriage.

Debbie recently retired, after several years as a caregiver, from Caring Services.  She had managed the 11th Frame, the Black Stallion and Stucky's Dairy Queen in Centerville.  She enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, music, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.  In her younger years she had a band called Debbie and the Mid-night Travelers.

In addition to her husband, Devin, her memory and love will be cherished by her daughters, Misty Bautista of Centerville and Mandy (Cory) Gray of Westfield; and her grandchildren, Parker, Braxton, Carter, Able, and Mateo.  She will be thought of often by her brother, Ron Leach, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ernie Leach.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home.  Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Debbie will be laid to rest at Valley Grove Cemetery following the service.
