On April 10, 2023, Deloris Eileen "Dee" Isaacs went to be with the Lord.  She was born on July 12, 1947, in Lincoln County West Virginia to the late Samuel Spears and Eloise Copely Spears VanDaniker.  She was the oldest female and helped care for her siblings.

She married Glen Farmer at the age of 15.  They left their home in the mountains and relocated to Connersville, IN where Glen found work.  Although Dee and Glen divorced, they remained friends and talked and visited often.

Dee loved to read, and you could almost always find her in her reading glasses with her nose in a book.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She often took in children and treated them as family.  She was called "Mama Dee" by many.  She was loving and giving and would give to anyone in need.  Her loving heart and feisty attitude will be missed.  She loved and treasured her family above all.

She will be missed by her children, Terry Farmer, Ronnie Farmer, Lisa Farmer, Amanda (Daniel) Jones, and Ashley (Bart) Mays.  Deloris adored her grandchildren and had special bonds with them, they are Cierra (Billy) Ammerman, Joshua Farmer, Destiny Farmer, Holdyn Mays, Jacob Ammerman II, Amielya Mays, Parker Ammerman, Bryson Mays and Blake Jones.  She will be thought of often by her sisters, Lisa (Morris) Gulley, Samantha Spears, Stephanie Spears, and Ronda Brady, and her brothers, Bryan Spears and Robert Spears.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Bill VanDaniker; brothers, Kenneth Garci, Samuel "David" Spears, Theadore "Teddy" Spears; her lifelong friend, Glen Farmer, and a grandson, Brandon Farmer.

Services for Dee will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8 ^th Street, Connersville.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
