Dianna Carey passed away at her home on April 19, 2025, at the age of 79.  Born in Metamora, Indiana on August 16, 1945, she is the daughter of the late Vernon and Dorothy Baker Riley.

On August 20, 1983, she was united in marriage to Alan "Bunny" Carey in Metamora.  They shared 41 years of marriage prior to her death.

Dianna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother that enjoyed riding horses, going mushroom hunting, reading romance novels, playing cards and going to yard sales.  She loved to travel to Florida and go crabbing and valued the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her husband, Alan, her love and memories will be forever cherished by her daughters, Robin (Gary) Lewis and Nicole Carey; sons, Bobby Baker, Roger (Joy) Derenski, Clifford Yingst and Virgle Carey; a sister, Deborah Edwards, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, with another on the way.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann Carey, son Alan R. "Beaver" Carey, Jr; brothers, Granville "buddy" Riley and Tommy Riley and a grandson, Jeffrey Alan Bowling.

Friends and family may gather and share memories of Dianna on Wednesday April 23, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th Street, Connersville.  Pastor Wayne Ison will conduct funeral services on Thursday April 24, 2025, at 11:00 am.  Burial will be at Cupps Chapel.
