Donna Jean Kerr passed away at Caroleton Health Care in Connersville on June 27, 2024, at the age of 96.  She was born in Connersville on April 22, 1928, one of four children of the late Jesse and Elizabeth White Dawes.

On February 1, 1946, she was united in marriage to Frederick D. Kerr. They shared 66 years of marriage prior to his death in 2012.

Donna was a loving farmers wife,

mother, and grandmother that enjoyed working in her flower gardens, interior design and going shopping.   She was a member of the Harrisburg Union Church.

Left to cherish her love and memories are her daughters, Linda Kerr and Bonny Sanders; grandson, Troy Powell and a nephew Kenny (Rosie) Strauthman of Fort Wayne, IN.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Orville Dawes, Ruth Dawes and Maxine Strauthman.

Donna's family would like to thank her caregivers at Caroleton Health Care and Brighton Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.

No public services are scheduled at this time.  Urban Winkler Funeral Home is honored to assist Donna's family with her arrangements.
