Edward Davidson, age 90, began his eternal journey with his Lord and Savior on August 9, 2023.  Edward was born in Tyner, Jackson County, Kentucky on March 9, 1933, the son of Oscar and Lucy Davidson.  On May 24, 1958, in Jellico, Tennessee, he was united in marriage to Brenda Edwards.  They shared 65 years together prior to his passing.

Edward and Brenda have been members of the Full Gospel Holiness Church for over 50 years.  He retired in 1989 from D & M/WCI after many years of service.  Edward enjoyed going to flea markets and antique stores and playing the banjo.  He valued the time that he spent with his family most of all.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, he has left behind to remember him with joy and love in their hearts, two sons, Terry Davidson and Michael (Yalonda) Davidson; a sister, Lucille (LC) Robinson; grandchildren, Misty Davidson, Haley Davidson and Cody Davidson; great grandchildren, Trent Davidson, Emma Johnson and Wyatt Johnson; as well as his nieces, nephews and church family.

He was welcomed into heaven by his parents, and a brother, Ivan Davidson.

Friends may gather with the family at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Sunday August 13, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral services by Pastor Jeff Hensley will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Everton Cemetery.
