Elizabeth Nell Burns passed away on Thursday December 26, 2024, at her home in Connersville at the age of 66.  She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on March 15, 1958, the daughter of Virgil and Wilma Fay Kelly Burns.

Elizabeth had worked at several area nursing homes as a CNA for several years until her health deteriorated.  She loved to relax by listening to old time county music and collecting angels.  Her most treasured times were when she was enjoying the company of her children and grandchildren.

She has left behind to treasure her love and memories her daughter, Misty (William) Lacy; sons, Gary (Carla Gentry) and Tyron Isaacs; brothers, Pete Burns, Randy Burns and Rick (Maryann) Burns; sister Linda (Craig) Buck; and her longtime companion, David Ledford.  She will be in the thought of her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Isaacs, Destiny Isaacs, Quinton, Isaacs, Tyron Isaacs, Ashley McHenry, Austin McHenry, Dylan Lacy and Landen Lacy; three great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephew.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a great grandson, Palmer Lorne McHenry and a daughter-in-law, Krista Burns.

Graveside services will be held on Monday December 30, 2024 at 11:00 am at Dale Cemetery.  Urban Winkler Funeral Home is honored to assist Elizabeth's family with her arrangements.
