Elizabeth Kay Phillips passed away unexpectedly at her home in Liberty on September 2, 2024 at the age of 73.  Kay was born in Dayton, OH on June 15, 1951, one of three children of the late Carl and Margie Rogers Begley.

She retired from Reid Health after 30 plus years in Environmental Services.  When she wasn't working she enjoyed watching the older TV shows, going shopping, and wondering though antique shops.  Her most treasured times were the time she spent with her family.

Her love and memories will be cherished forever by her children, Sheila Welborn, Jason Phillips and Joshua Phillips; two grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life, Cotton Phillips; and her siblings, Jimmy Rogers and Betty Begley.

Private graveside services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home is honored to assist Kay's family with her arrangements.
