Gloria Chambliss began her eternal journey with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday April 29, 2025, at the age of 75.  She was born in Connersville, Indiana on November 26, 1949, the daughter of Kenneth and Mamie Dickey Isaacs.

Gloria was united in marriage On August 28, 1990, to Donald Chambliss, the love of her life.  They shared 7 years prior to his death in 1997.

Until her health prohibited her to work, she was a lunch aide at Connersville Middle School. She attended the Soldiers in the Army of the Lord until her health failed.

She loved to go shopping, eating out and all types of chocolate.  She lived the simple life and enjoyed playing games on her phone, flowers. Gloria was a social butterfly that had a lot of friends and church family she enjoyed being around.  She valued her faith and family above all.

Her memories will be cherished by her children, Sheila K. Butcher, Andy (Cindy) Griffin and John (Roxanne) Griffin; stepson, Donald R. Chambliss; sisters, Linda (Tom) Weaver, Connie Riggs, Patricia Isaacs and Paula Wheeler; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; a special friend, Alan Burns, and her sister's dog, Little Angel.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Gary Isaacs.

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville on Friday May 2, 2025, at 1:00 pm.  Family and friends may gather from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service.
