Gregory James Simmermeyer, age 36, passed away on May 9, 2023, at Reid Health in Richmond.  Gregg was born on November 26, 1986, in Connersville, the son of James and Pamela Frye Simmermeyer.

He is a graduate of Connersville High School.  Gregg spent his days hanging with his friends at New Horizons or Pulmonary Rehabilitation.  He loved to listen to music, his favorites included Michael Jackson, Christian music or Disney music.  He enjoyed watching Disney DVD and was a fan of Harry Potter and Nightmare Before Christmas.  Most of all he treasured the time he spent with his family

In addition to his parents, James and Pamela, his memory will be cherished by his sister, Elizabeth (Aaron) Mays, nieces, Felicity and Nora, and his best buddy, Rocky.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Maxine "Gee" Frye and Ray and Ruth Simmermeyer.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Urban Winkler Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with Gregg's arrangements.
