Harry Joe Fitzgerald, 65 of Connersville passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1960, in Columbus, Indiana to William J. Fitzgerald and Martha (Henderson) Fitzgerald.

Joe was a member of the New Testament Church of Christ in Hagerstown.

Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force as Military Police. He was stationed in Belgium. During his enlistment he played semiprofessional basketball in Belgium.

On November 20, 2007, he married Angie Allen in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Following his military service, Joe began his career in car sales in Indianapolis.

Joe found joy in music and was a talented guitarist and singer. He loved performing blues, country and Christian music; he often shared his gifts in churches and touching the lives of others through songs and worship. His faith was the foundation of his life, guiding him through the good and challenging times in life.

Above all he cherished his family, he was a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Angie Fitzgerald; his sons, Sean Fitzgerald and Tyler Fitzgerald; his stepdaughters, Miranda K. Grimm and Corina M. Gray; and his granddaughters, Savannah Fitzgerald, Sara and Olivia Grimm; Ella and Alia Gray.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Fitzgerald and his twin sons, Keith and Kyle Fitzgerald.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St., Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
