James Arthur Reisert II, a Connersville native passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 2, 2026 at his residence at the age of 60. He was born on July 3, 1965, the son of late James A. Reisert and Lois White Reisert.

Jimmy was a hard worker that spent his days on the farm. He worked tirelessly for his cousin and friend John Caldwell and Dale Steele. He truly loved helping his buddies out and felt accomplished when the task at hand was complete. He loved everything about farm life and he took great pride in caring for the animals. In his younger years he trained horses, and enjoyed riding them after they were skilled. When Jimmy wasn't working on the farm, loved nothing more than to spend time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Jimmy is survived by his children; sons, Brandon Reisert, Brian Reisert, daughters, India Reisert Marshall, and Paige Barrett. He will be missed by his step-siblings; Todd (Jeanna) Watson, Jan Lafollette, and Angie Watson. His memories will live on in his 6 grandchildren, his nieces, Brooke Dunsmore, Andrea Hall, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Along with his parents and grandparents, he is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Autumn Reisert, sisters, Amy Reisert, Rhonda Reisert, and half-sisters, Brenda Stout and Judy Reisert.

Friends and family may gather on Thursday July 16, 2026 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Urban Winkler Funeral Home located at 513 W 8th Street Connersville, IN 47331. A funeral service will begin at 12:00PM. Jimmy will be laid to rest at Everton Cemetery at a later date.
