Janet Miller, 77 of Connersville passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born on December 30, 1943 in Burlington, Iowa to Raymond Cornelius Ingwersen and Pauline Mae Messer Ingwersen.

On October 12, 1962 she married Jerry Miller in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Together they were blessed with 2 sons.

Janet was a faithful member at Woodland Bible Church, where she was involved in many activities throughout the church.

Upon retirement from Henry County Hospital she lived in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa before moving to Connersville. She came out of retirement to become a caregiver for 2 special ladies, Deloris Newman and Anna Reidman.

Janet had a passion for collecting and making porcelain dolls. She loved to cook. Most importantly she cherished the times spent with her grandchildren and great grandchild. She was an avid fan of watching Connersville Spartan Boys Basketball.

Along with her husband of 59 years she is survived by her sons, JD (Lisa) Miller and Rodney (companion, Katie) Miller; 2 grandchildren, Zachary Dean (Erin) Miller and Tyler Michael (Rebecca) Miller; a great grandchild, Huxley Dean Miller; brothers, Jerry (Clara) Ingwersen and  Darrell Ingwersen; sisters, Deloris (Charles) Wood and Martha (Lester) Garrison; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy W. Ingwersen, Roger Ingwersen, Randy "Moose" Ingwersen and an infant brother.

Visitation for Janet will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Woodland Bible Church, 835 W. County Rd 300 N., Connersville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at the church with Reverend William Keen officiating. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
