Jeffrey "Jeff" Wayne Green, 63, a lifelong Connersville residence.  He is someone we love, has turned his final page and life for us will never be the same.  Please take a second and say his name *Jeff Green*.

He lost his battle with COPD, which turned to a nasty version of pneumonia, on December 17, 2021.

The greatest gift you can give is to speak his name, so we can hear some stories and tales of days gone past.  So we can saver each and every one to pass along to others because each memory is music to our hearts and ears.

Born on March 31, 1958.  Jeff was born to Jefferson (Jeff) Green of Owsley County, Kentucky and Judith (Judy) Gay Todd Green of Connersville.  Both precede him in death.

After graduating high school, Jeff spent multiple years walking the very same halls for Fayette County School's Janitor Department.  His smile, knack for gab and making friends wherever he went had him working jobs on the road installing conveyor systems for distribution centers across the United States until he fell ill and had to take the big recess of disability and enjoy some rest and relaxation and the sunshine.

We are happy to say that he has so many friends that we couldn't possibly list them all.  We would like to thank a few that have kept personally in touch and making him laugh.  Rick Davis, Brian "Caz" Casteel, Shorty, and Herman Reichert, Brenda Eddy, Zazzles, Buddy, Baby Girl, and Elisha "Eli".

Jeff was an avid sportsman.  We are hoping he is up there fishing and drinking a cool one at Cumberland Lake with his good friend Gary Mosier.

Jeff had one brother and sister, both of Connersville, Michael Dwayne (Rose Loyd) Green and Kimberly Green.  Although he didn't have kids of his own, he enjoyed his nieces and nephews; Michael Tyler Green and Riley, Christina Nichole Tryon and Randy and Ethan, Dakota Brianna Green, Cassie Whipple; aunts and uncles, Jenny Vanover with Chad and Todd Lambert, Trudy and Steve Caldwell with Jeremy and Amanda Caldwell, Josh Caldwell, Stephanie (Steve Fogers) Ramey with Nick Ramey, Bill and Susie Todd with Tony Todd, and Darrell Todd.

The family has decided to have a memorial of his life at a later date.

Don't forget to occasionally say his name, Jeff Green or to some Bodine, so the tales of the past can once again be the music to our ears.  Our uncle, our cousin, our friend, but mostly "Our Brother" to all of us.
