Jeremy Allen Sams, age 46, of Connersville passed away at Reid Hospital in Richmond on January 8, 2024. Jeremy was born on April 30, 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana; he was the son of the late Bobby Joe Sams Sr and Teresa Ann McKinney Sams.

Jeremy's family described him as fun-loving, and an outgoing person, that gave his all too any task placed in front of him.  His hobbies include any and every activity that takes place outdoors. When Jeremy wasn't busy working in construction as a carpenter, he took pleasure in helping as a farm hand for local farmers. Jeremy loved to fish and hunt, specifically white tails. Jeremy enjoyed kayaking down the river and hiking the woods. The most important to thing to Jeremy was his family.

Jeremy is survived by his children; daughters, Alexis Weston, Trinity Ann Taylor, and a son, Austin Sams. Jeremy will be greatly missed by his siblings; brothers, Bobby Joe Sams Jr, Brandon Sams, Dennis Sidell, Chris Revelee; and sisters, Denise Hentz, Melissa Kelley, and Breanna Sams. His memories will be treasured by his 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and the woman whom raised him, his mother, Bonnie Sams.

Jeremy is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Shiloh May Accent.

A memorial service in honor of Jeremy will be held on Wednesday January 17, 2024 at 6:00pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street Connersville.  Friends and family may come to pay their respects from 4:00pm until the beginning of the memorial service.
