Jerilyn J. Johnson peacefully passed away at Reid Health in Richmond on July 10, 2026 at the age of 63.  Jerilyn was born in Milford, Ohio on March 21, 1963, one of seven children of Cecil Eugene Gardner and Jeannine Faye Sillett Johnson.

She was united in marriage in the fall of 1985 to Merle Thomas Johnson in Cincinnati, Ohio.  They shared over 40 years of marriage prior to her passing.

Jerilyn worked in area drug stores as a Pharmacy Tech for many years.  Outside of work, she found joy in the simple things.  She enjoyed making jewelry, other crafts, working in puzzle books and researching her family history.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Merle Thomas; brothers, Mark (Carole) Gardner, Michael Gardner, and Gale "Buzzy" (Kelly) Gardner; sisters, Lagena Toadvine and Jacque (Jeff) Adams; step-sisters, Sheila Firth and Sharon (Mark) Combs; brothers-in-law, Randy Hensley and Keith Logan; special friend, Pat Gilbert, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Jana Hensley; step sister, Jean Logan, step father, Charlie Johnson and step mother, Betty Gardner.

Keeping with Jerilyn's wishes cremation was chosen.  A Celebration of Life will be conducted at the family's convenience.  Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home is honored to assist her family with the arrangements.
