Jessie Snyder, 89 of Connersville went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 15, 2026. She was born on July 13, 1937, in Hyden, Kentucky to Bidge Sizemore and Alice Sizemore.

On July 13, 1988, she married Charles Snyder. They were able to spend 21 years together before he passed away on June 27, 2009.

Jessie was a faithful member of Bethel Apostolic Church. Her faith was an important part of who she was. She was a woman of prayer; she loved attending church and especially praising the Lord through music and dancing. Her faith brought her comfort, strength and joy throughout her life.

She devoted much of her life to caring for others as a CNA and caregiver for Residential CRF. Caring for others came naturally to her.

At home, she enjoyed the simple things that made her happy. She liked keeping a clean and tidy home and relaxing while watching her favorite television shows. Above all her greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Jessie is survived by daughter, Tonya Morgan; her sons, Jeff (Janet) Morgan, Greg Morgan and Mike Morgan; her grandchildren, Shawna, Kristin, Elizabeth, Mackenzie, Morgan, Autumn and Aleyah; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Kaylee, Landon, Arionna, Memphis, Winter, Andi Mae, Rose (on the way), Raelynn and Celine; and 2 great great grandchildren, Asher and Aspen; her step sons, James (Patricia) Snyder, Ronald (Teri) Snyder and Louis (Meridith) Snyder; her sisters, Martha Sizemore, Dorothy Riley, Ora Sizemore, Easter Hensley, Hallie Hensley, Dovie Sizemore and Zubie Sizemore, and a step daughter-in-law, Jean Snyder.

Along with her parents and husband, Jessie was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Sizemore; two step-sons, Charles Snyder Jr. and Robert Snyder.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Bethel Apostolic Church, 509 W. 23rd., Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
