Joseph Steven Hux age 55, passed away on August 15, 2023, in Connersville.  Joseph was born on October 21, 1967, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late William B. and Betty Jo Belt Hux.

Joseph worked as a stone mason most of his life.  He lived a simple life, enjoying playing his electric guitar, going fishing and spending time outdoors. His most treasured time was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Alyssa (Cody) Polk, Paige (Bill) McComas and Blake Hux; and his grandchildren, Delilah, Brantley and Ryder.  He will be thought of often by his brothers, Travis Hux, Bobby Bailey and William "Bill" Hux; sisters, Cheryl Newman, Tonia Hux, Holly Crawford and Jennifer Hux; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Tony Hux: and sisters, Annie Hayes, Lilian Belt, Sonia Hux, and Connie Steele.

Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville, on Monday August 21, 2023, at 1:00pm.  Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow at Lick Creek Cemetery.
