Laura Lou "Lucy" Isaacs passed away at Reid Health in Richmond on Sunday morning, April 26, 2026, at the age of 92.  Lucy was born in Connersville, IN on January 25, 1934, the daughter of the late Frank May, Sr. and Anna Thumb May Archer.

On January 30, 1954, Lucy was united in marriage to Herbert N. Isaacs in Connersville.  They shared 68 years of marriage prior to his passing on April 27, 2022, and were blessed with two beautiful daughters.

She retired from Ford and its predecessors in 1995 after many years of loyal service.  Lucy enjoyed shopping on QVC, going to yard sales, working on word puzzles and traveling. She loved to watch her grandchildren at their sporting events and their participation in 4-H.  Above all, and most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her daughters, Janet Roberts of Connersville and Lou Ann (Tim) Hildebrand of Milton; grandchildren, Adam Hildebrand of Losantville and Jesica Hildebrand of Pendleton; great grandchildren, twins, Kiley and Avery Hildebrand; a special friend, her "little sister" Charlene Hornung, her beloved cat, Lots of Dots, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mildred "Millie" Bullard and brothers, Frank "Pee Wee" May, Jr, James "Curly" May, Harrison C. "Tom" May, Carroll E. "Gene" May and Paul W. May

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Thursday April 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm where family and friends may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Lucy will be laid to rest next to Herb at Valley Grove Cemetery.
