Lee R. Crawley of Connersville, IN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the young age of 68. He was born on May 11, 1956 in Connersville, the son of Eula Davis Gibson and the late Leroy Crawley.

After Lee graduated from Richmond High School in 1975, he began working immediately where he was a dedicated employee. Lee almost always worked his way the lead position in any occupation he had. Lee later obtained an associate's degree and became a Journeyman in the field of electrician.

On December 16, 1977, Lee married the love of his life the former Peggy Gibbs. They celebrated 46 years of marriage prior to his passing. Together they were blessed with 3 children.

Lee was a jokester, he would do just about any prank imaginable to bring a smile to your face. He was a collector of many things and he enjoyed being outdoors. Lee loved being with family specifically his children and grandchildren. He was always proud of each and every one of them, and their accomplishments.

Lee is survived by his wife, Peggy Crawley, his mother, Eula (Chad) Gibson, and his children; daughter, Crystal (Joey) Wright, Cody Crawley, and Rodney (Larissa Harris) Crawley. He will be greatly missed by his siblings and bonus siblings; brothers, Vincent Crawley, Christopher Crawley, and Phillip Crawley, bonus brothers, Scott Gibson, Mark Gibson, Chad Gibson sisters, Kim (Chris) Hittle, Jeanna McKnight and bonus sister, Lisa Creech. His memories will live on his grandchildren Branson and Maxwell Wright, also his best friends and dog companions Tilly, Minnie, and TinkerBell.
