Lois Imogene Baker, 84, of Connersville, passed away on December 24, 2021 at her home in Connersville. Lois was born on October 28, 1937, and is the daughter of the late Riley Fowler and Emma Harbison Fowler.

On July 20, 1956 she married Milburn Baker. They spent 55 years together before he passed away on July 7, 2011.

Lois had worked at Ford in Connersville.

Lois loved to sit down and watch old western movies and collected dolls for many years. The most important job for Lois was being the amazing homemaker she was. She had her arms wide open for all the grandkids and family to come into her home. She cherished all the time spent with them.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Baker; grandchildren, Ryan (Esther) Pope and Mendy (Justin) Rose; great grandchildren, Ashlyn Pope, Hayllie Pope, Serenity Pope, Emmalyne Pope, Caitie Bard, Lauren Bard, Nevada Rose and Justin Rose Jr.; great great grandchildren, Prim Glover, Brenlee Baumgartner and Payton Baumgartner; three sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Milburn Baker Jr; grandson, Timothy Baker, and several brothers and sisters.

Family and friend may gather at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8 ^th Street, Connersville on Thursday, January 6, 2021 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm.  Services will follow at 2:00 pm with Angie Isaacs officiating.  Burial at Dale Cemetery will follow.
