Lois Maxine Spivey began her eternal journey with her Lord and Savior on May 8, 2025, at the age of 88.  She was born on June 6, 1936, the daughter of George and Mary Lois Smith Teaton.

On June 25, 1955, at Central Christian Church, she married the love of her life, Bruce Spivey.  They shared 69 years of marriage prior to her death.

Lois worked for Jay & Jay Silk Screening as their secretary until her retirement.  She and Bruce joined Connersville Baptist Temple in February of 2006 and were baptized in March of 2006.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, and watching Nascar.  She also loved going to church and spending time with her church family.  Lois took great pleasure in the time she spent with her family and friends.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her husband, Bruce, numerous nieces and nephews, good friends, Larry and Joyce Harris and Tom and Pam Burk, as well as her church family.

She was welcomed into heaven by her parents and her brother, James R. Teaton.

Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Tuesday May 13, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Joe Ferreira and Reverend Randy Collins officiating.  Friends and family may gather to share memories of Lois on Monday evening, May 12, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Lois will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery.
