Madison M. Lakes, age 22, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2023.  Madison was born on April 2, 2001, in Connersville, the daughter of Jon and Shannon Morrow Lakes.

Madison was a 2018 graduate of Connersville High School.  She loved sports.  She loved to play softball and participated on several area travel teams.  In middle school she played on the basketball team.  She enjoyed listening to music and treasured the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her niece and nephew.    Madison was a delivery driver for Domino's in Richmond.

In addition to her parents, her memory will be cherished by her siblings Lennon Lakes and Felicity (Logan Keller) Lakes, niece, Adalynn Newton and nephew, Carson Keller.  She will be thought of often by her maternal grandmother, Anne Morrow; paternal grandfather, Ray Reisinger; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and her cats, Nala, Snowflake and dog Odin.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William C. Lakes and Karen Reisinger, and maternal grandfather, Clyde Jr. Morrow .

Friends may gather with the family at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville on Thursday evening, August 3, 2023, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Chris Lovett on Friday August 4, 2023, at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
