Mark Owen Spurlock, age 62, of Connersville, passed away on August 10, 2023, due to a heart attack.   Mark was born in Connersville on April 12, 1961, the son of Walter and Beulah Fee Spurlock.

For 24 years, he worked at Ford/Visteon until they closed and most recently, he worked at Valeo in Greensburg.  Mark was a member of the Laurel Masonic Lodge #447 and the Scottish Rite.  When he wasn't working you could find him relaxing with his fishing pole, going hunting and mushroom hunting or spending time with his cows.  Most of all he treasured the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Walter and Beulah, his memories will be forever cherished by his daughters, April (Ryan) Baker and ReJeana Spurlock.  He will be thought of often by his grandchildren, Harleigh Johnson, Eli Spurlock, Abryann Baker, Owen Baker, Luke Baker and Lilly Baker.

Friends may gather with the family at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville, on Tuesday evening August 15, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday August 16, 2023, at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Laurel North Cemetery.
