Mary A. Smith passed away at the Heritage House Healthcare Center in Connersville on September 21, 2024, at the age of 91.  She was born in Kentucky on October 18, 1932, the daughter of Seldon and Jalie Terry Noble.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother that helped on the family farm.  When not working on the farm, she loved to work in her flower gardens.  When she was younger, she enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Mary's love and memories will be cherished by her daughters, Wanda Boughner and Sharon Wissler.  She will be thought of often by her sister, Lizzi Robert; grandchildren, Avery Barrett, Kyle Wissler and Tyler Wissler; great grandchildren, Kelsey Hallgarth, Olivia Barrett, Charlotte Barrett, Riley Barrett and Archer Wissler; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Smith; brothers, Seldon Noble, Jr and Willard Noble; and sisters, Ida Noble Fannen, Lillie Mae Gilbert, Orleana Noble and Helen Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville, on Saturday September 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bob Smith officiating.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Mary will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery.
