Matthew E. Gross, 47 of Connersville passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022. He was born on July 14, 1975 in East Chicago, Indiana.

Matt was a machinist at CNC for most of his life.

Matt enjoyed going fishing, watching SNL with his children, and listening to music. Most importantly he loved to go on adventures with his family and spending time with them and his friends.

Matt is survived by his father and step mother, Rex (Denise) Gross, of Crown Point, his mother, Cathy Branscum, of Connersville; the mother of his children, Wendy Gross, of Connersville; his children, Breanna (Dylan) Sorrell, PFC Mason Gross, Madison (James) Gross and Gracie Gross, all of Connersville; grandchildren, Grayson, Hendrix, Masie and one due in March, Emerson Riley Nicole; brothers, David (Haley) Branscum, of Connersville; Dan (Jackie) Gross, of Huber, IN; a sister, Kelly (Jason) Daniels, of Lake Station, IN; grandmother, Judy Wescott, Calumet City, IL; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Neldine Wescott and paternal grandparents, Al and Mabel Gross.

Visitation for Matt will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th St. Connersville, IN from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
