Michael Lee Sherwood passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 21, 2023, at Reid Health in Connersville at the age of 51.  He was born in Connersville on June 20, 1972, the son of Stephen L. Sherwood and Deborah Hayslett Frost.

Michael met the former Pamela "Rosie" Brown in 2001 and was united in marriage in Las Vegas on December 10, 2010.

Michael was the owner/operator of Kar Krushers.  He enjoyed donating his time as the entertainment promoter at many benefits and music events.  He also loved to ride side by sides and enjoyed music of all types.  Michael was a simple man that valued the time he spent with his family and friends.  He was known to help anyone, anytime, anywhere with anything that they needed.  His philosophy was to work hard so you could play harder.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 1065 and the AmVets Post 11.

In addition to his wife, Rosie, his memory will be loved and cherished by his father Stephen (Pam Meadows) Sherwood, his mother, Deborah Frost; children, Michael S. (Amanda) Sherwood, Stefani (Travis Moiser) McClure and Steven (Brittany) McClure; and a brother, Stephen "Butch" Sherwood.  He will be thought of often by his grandchildren, Michael Daryn Jay Sherwood, Brantley McClure, Waylon McClure, Keegan McClure, Alexis Jolene Sherwood, Buck Lee Sherwood, Max Mason Lee Mosier, Katelyne Stephens, Kirsten Stephens, Mason Crouch and Gage Crouch; step-sister Tina (Robby) Callahan; step-brothers, Timmy Tremain and Tony Tremain; sister-in-law, Sheila (Jerry) McKeown; brothers-in-law, Shane Brown and Roy Stephen Brown, Jr.; aunt Cathy Wilson and uncles Jeff (Leora) Sherwood and Chris (Kim) Sherwood; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a large group of friends that he considered family.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Tara Nichole (Niki) Frasher; paternal grandparents, Henry and Darryl Foster Sherwood; maternal grandparents, Roland and Wilma Tackett Hayslett; father-in-law Roy Stephen Brown; mother-in-law, Diane Brown; stepmother, Teresa Sherwood; stepbrother, Vinny Tremain and uncles, Danny Sherwood and Tim Sherwood.

Friends may gather with the family at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Monday evening November 27, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.   Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday November 28, 2023, at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Lick Creek Cemetery.
