Michele M. Ross passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2023, at Reid Health in Richmond at the age of 52.  She was born in Connersville, IN, on August 3, 1971, the daughter of Connie Sidell Bissonnette and the late Elmer Griffin, Jr.

Michele was a loving mother that enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, animals and doing crafts.  She lived a simple life and her most valued treasure was the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her mother, her love and memory will be cherished by her children, Desiree Atwood and Lonnie Atwood; a brother Chris Griffin; and sisters, Tammy Andrews and Elizabeth (Danny) Roszell. She will be thought of often by her aunts and uncles, David & Diane Sidell, Dennis & Becky Sidell, Nancy & Tom Agee, Debbie Sidell, Jimmy & Ruby Griffin, Terry Griffin, Billy Griffin, Vicki Griffin, and John Bissonnette; several nieces and nephews; as well as many cousins including Cindy Griffin and Jennifer Lee.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, who raised her as his own, Robert Bissonnette; brothers, Shunion Griffin and Donald Griffin; grandparents, Donald & Lonnie Sidell and Elmer Sr. & Cynthia Griffin; an uncle Ronnie Sidell and a cousin Andy Sidell.

Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Chris Lovett at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Tuesday December 12 2023 at 1:00 pm.  Friends and family may visit from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Michelle will be laid to rest at Springersville Cemetery.
