Pastor Kim D. McHale

Mr. Kim D. McHale, a lifelong resident of Connersville, entered the gates of Heaven on Monday October 5, 2026 in Richmond, Indiana at the age of 73. He was born on July 20, 1953, the only son of the late Leo D. McHale and Emily R. Blanton McHale.

Kim was a 1972 graduate of Connersville High School. Following his heart and faith he went on to attain a Pastorate Bachelor’s Degree from Liberty University in 1980.

Pastor Kim loved the Lord with all his heart and soul, he was an exemplary servant to Him and those he surrounded himself with. A devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Kim has led many ministries over his lifetime. A few of the ministries that he was a part of include the Beams Bible Ministry in Gulfport, Mississippi; the Home Missionary representing Calvary Baptist Church, Ministry of Home Ministry and Evangelism, and various other ministries at Calvary Baptist Church. Kim enjoyed taking on the mission’s field with his parents while they served together at Ambassadors of Encouragement. He took great pride in serving the Lord as an Assistant Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church, where he made many friends that became family. When he wasn’t serving the Lord, he loved visiting with the people of Calvary, reading his bible, or spending time with his family, especially his nieces and great-nieces and great-nephews. Pastor Kim has left a lasting impression on all who loved and adored him, and he will be deeply missed.

Kim is survived by his sister, Peggy L. McHale Stone (Daniel), his beloved nieces; Stacy L. Grimes (Randy) and Amy R. Casey (Jason). He will be greatly missed by his cousins Judy Collier, Linda Mentzer and their families. His memory will live on in his great-nieces and great-nephews; Yusuf Abrahim, Mia Casey, Layla Casey, Isla Casey, and Asher Casey.

Along with his parents; Leo and Emily, he is preceded in death by a nephew David Stone.

Friends and Family may visit Calvary Baptist Church located at 309 W 24th Street Connersville, IN 47331 on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. Funeral services will begin at the church at 1:00PM with Pastor John Reynolds officiating. Pastor Kim will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to one of the following ministries; Calvary Baptist Church, Amazing Grace Missions, or Beams Bible Ministry.
