Patricia (Pat) Ann Sheckler, formerly of Connersville, passed away on June 1, 2025, at Greenwood Healthcare in Greenwood, IN at the age of 69.  Pat was born in Bloomington, Illinois on October 24, 1955, the daughter of the late George E. and Carolyn Sharp Sheckler.

Pat graduated from Connersville Senior High School, in 1974, where she sang in the choir. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Connersville for many years and after graduation became a CNA before moving to Bradenton, Florida. There she worked for Circle K, becoming the store manager during her tenure. Upon returning to Connersville, Pat worked at Walmart for 23 years where she became a Department Manager before retiring in 2019.

Pat enjoyed country music, Colts football and playing cards with friends and family.  She loved holidays and family could always expect a celebratory phone call on the holidays, especially New Year's Eve.  Pat was known to be a kind and loyal friend who never hesitated to help others when she could.

Her memories will be cherished by her siblings, John (Lia) Sheckler, Richard (Alpha) Sheckler and Jane Carberry as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Robert Sheckler and a nephew Michael Shields.

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Monday June 9, 2025, at 1:00 pm.  Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
