Phyllis Ann Brock passed away on March 5, 2024 at Whitewater Commons in Liberty at the age of 74.  Phyllis was born on December 16, 1949, in Connersville, the daughter of the late Asher and Christine Zimmerman Saylor.

On October 14, 1967 in Liberty she was united in marriage to Stanley Brock.  They shared 56 years together prior to her death.  Phyllis and Stanley were blessed with a son.

Phyllis attended Ivy Tech and received her Associates Degree.  She retired in 2011 after working as a CNA and in medical records at several area nursing homes.   She also worked as a door greeter at Walmart.  She enjoyed going to church and playing the piano, sewing, fishing, and mushroom hunting.  She was known to make beautiful quilt.  She spent over two years making and hand stitching a state birds of America quilt for a good friend.  Phyllis loved to travel and going to her son's sporting events.  She also taught Josh to play the guitar and enjoyed listening to him play.

In addition to her husband, her love and memories will be cherished by her son, Josh (Danni) Brock; a brother, Jerry Asher Saylor; a sister, Wanda Jean (Tom) Swyers; as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Blooming Grove Family Worship Church on Friday evening March 8, 2024, at 7:00 pm.  Friends and family may visit from 5:00 pm until the hour of the service.
