Randy Ketchum passed away on Tuesday October 31, 2023, at Heritage House in Connersville at the age of 68.  He was born on January 6, 1955, in Connersville, the son of the late Harvey Ketchum and Margie Cuppy Pogue.

For over 25 years he worked for Asplundh Tree Service, starting as a grounds man working his way up to Assistant General Foreman.  He also did concrete work for Carl E. Most and Sons in Indianapolis, was a custodian at Centerstone and most recently he had worked at Goodwill.  When he wasn't working you could find him relaxing by fishing, hunting or watching NASCAR.  He was a devoted family man.  His greatest pleasure was the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.

His memories will be forever cherished by his children, Dawn Barrett, Stephanie (Steven Steele) Ketchum, Kevin (Brandi Asbury) Ketchum, and Randy (Jessica) Ketchum, Jr.; and sisters, Kathy (Randy) Jones and Kimberly (Willie Case) Steele.  He will be thought of often by his grandchildren, Makayla (Josh) Geise, Braxten (Karli Boulware) Barrett, Lillian Morris, Alayna Ketchum, Serenity Jones, John Jones, Jr. and Leighton Steele; a great grandson, Jaxston Geise; his special friend, Linda Hines and his former wife of 23 years and mother of his children, Donna Elkins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Tim Ketchum and a sister, Karen Pogue.

Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville,  on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm.  Friends may gather with the family from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.
