Richard Horn of Connersville, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis at the age of 62.  Richard was born in Connersville, IN on April 17 1962, the son of Phyllis Horn and the late Herschel Horn.

Richard was a loving brother, father and grandfather who enjoyed traveling to the mountains or Florida and going fishing.  He never met a stranger.  His most valuable treasure was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Brittany Horn, Doug (Breanna Cooper) Horn and Chris (Brittany) Horn; his girlfriend, Paula Pennington; grandchildren Sky, Avery, Kaden, Gracie, Nevaeh, Triston, Sabastian and one on the way, May.  He will be in the thoughts of a sister Sherry (Toby) Wood; brother, David Horn; his former wife and mother of his children, Julia Horn; as well as several nieces and nephews, including Mandy, who he thought of as a little sister.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Dale Horn.

Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Funeral Home on Friday May 10, 2024 at 1:00 pm.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the hour of the service.  Richard will be laid to rest at Laurel North Cemetery.
